Overall Sentiment #

Sentiment Analysis is measured on a scale from -1.0 to 1.0, with 0.0 being neutral. In general, sentiment works as you might expect it to. Words and phrases that are positive and enthusiastic increase sentiment scores. The inverse corollary is true for negative words and phrases. Evolved Studio recommends a sentiment above 0.7. Evolved’s own sampling indicates many job postings fall in the 0.70 to 0.90 range.

The copy/pasta

A sampling of job postings found that occasionally negative sentiment clusters around the rules and “legalese” in a job posting. While this might be boilerplate for your organization, remember that some folks do read it.

2. Observe that the explanation displays a breakdown of the sentiment of the document
